About Beacon Indica

Beacon Indica is a student-led startup ecosystem initiative helping aspiring founders move from idea validation to startup execution through structured programs, mentorship, community engagement, and venture-building activities.

We’re looking for a Growth & Marketing Intern who is comfortable talking to people, reaching out to current leads, and turning conversations into real opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct cold calls, WhatsApp outreach, emails, and Instagram/LinkedIn outreach to students, colleges, student communities, societies, and potential partners.

- Generate and qualify leads for Beacon Indica programs, workshops, Genesis, and campus initiatives.

• Follow up with leads consistently and maintain a simple database of prospects and conversations.

- Identify and reach out to relevant colleges, student clubs, communities, creators, and organizations for collaborations.
- Help drive registrations, participation, and engagement for Beacon Indica events and programs.
- Experiment with different outreach messages, pitches, and growth strategies to improve response and conversion rates.
- Track basic growth metrics such as leads contacted, responses, calls completed, registrations, and conversions.
- Work closely with the core team to execute campus growth and marketing campaigns.

Who We’re Looking For





• Someone who is confident communicating with strangers and isn't afraid of cold calling.

- Good communication and convincing skills.
- Comfortable with WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and basic digital tools.
- Proactive, persistent, and comfortable with follow-ups.
- Someone who enjoys sales, marketing, networking, and growth.
- Prior experience in sales, outreach, business development, or marketing is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Most importantly: you should be willing to pick up the phone and make things happen.
