Responsible for managing end-to-end inventory management including monitoring stock, application of procedures, on-time inspections, receipts maintenance, etc. and ensure avoiding stock-out situation and timely updation of MRN for imported & domestic materials with application of 5s practices

- Ensure applicability and practice of 5s in engineering stores, oil stores, chemical stores & packing stores

Key Responsibilities/KRAs





- Ensure regular follow-up with buyers and availability of materials; monitor BOM & critical consumables on daily basis to avoid stock-out situations- Ensure timely updation of MRN oracle after actual receipt of imported & domestic materials - Ensure applicability of FIFO system; monitor shelf life & ageing records of materials to avoid/reduce wastage- Maintain stores inventory within the defined budgeted level- Reconcile physical stock with oracle system stock before first week of every month and execute location identification system for Stores- Maintain daily receipts register and daily stock statement in MS-Excel- Prepare gate pass and maintain records of in-out transactions- Ensure inspection method for incoming BOM materials and their timely information to QA team - Ensure imported BOM incoming, QA rejected materials follow-up with buyer & material return to supplier- Facilitate expenses class material received in stores and informing same to the respective department- Send stock transfer material to NPAU, Bawal, Chennai, Kadi & Roorkee and ensure provision to accounts department on time- Ensure receipt, issue, & closing stock report is sent to all department heads at the end of every month- Track diesel usage closely for optimum fuel consumption levels- Conduct and manage physical stock tracking every month
- Generate weekly MCM and monthly MIS reports related to stores
- Ensure upkeep of safety norms for hazardous material storage and adhere to QMS - ISO, TS, Customer audit, EMS and OHSAS
