We are looking for an experienced General Manager (Civil) to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion. The candidate will be responsible for project execution, site coordination, quality, timelines, cost control, and effective coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, manage, and execute construction projects as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor overall project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Supervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, and other project staff.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Monitor project costs, material requirements, labour deployment, and resource utilisation.
- Identify project delays, technical issues, and risks and take corrective action.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of civil, structural, finishing, and related works.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at site.
- Verify contractor work progress and coordinate for measurements and billing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures.




- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management.
- Maintain proper project documentation, records, and reports.
- Coordinate with the CRM/handing-over team to ensure smooth project completion and handover.
- Resolve site-related issues and coordinate with management for major technical or commercial decisions.

Required Skills

- Strong project planning and execution skills.
- Good knowledge of construction practices, civil engineering standards, and building processes.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and contractors effectively.
- Robust communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, quality, and resources.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant experience in real estate/construction projects.

Proven experience in handling projects independently from commencement to completion.

Experience in residential/commercial building projects (Villas & Apartments) will be preferred.

Candidates who can join within a short notice period will be preferred.
