:

GAC Role Ownership :

- Coordinate and oversee the complete order-fulfilment lifecycle for Packaging, Software Rollout, and Catalogue Management across all involved units (packaging lab, AO Support, Remote Client Management, dw-SRM).
- Serve as the named emergency escalation point (e.g., failing rollout) with a 1-hour response SLA, and as the standard-request escalation point for packaging/GAC/Release Management topics (1-business-day SLA).
- Authorize and coordinate special-approval packaging procedures (e.g., ACL-relaxing) with the requesting Application Owner.

Process Governance &

- Continuous Improvement :
- Own and maintain the client's Packaging Standards.
- Conduct a minimum annual review of the packaging solution and processes; deliver written findings, improvement recommendations, and a concrete implementation plan (including budget and timeline) to the client.
- Drive the client's packaging-avoidance strategy favoring native Modern-client deployment (e.g., Company Portal) and vendor auto-update mechanisms over packaging wherever operationally sound, in line with client cost-reduction targets.

Rollout Governance :

- Own final review and correction authority for rollout batch discrepancies (incorrect/outdated SCCM Collections, Intune assignment groups) escalated by L2 packaging staff.
- Coordinate the software-distribution process (SCCM / Intune / future solutions) with the responsible solution owner, Application Owner, local service managers,



and dw-SRM within defined lead times.

Stakeholder &

- Cross-Team Coordination :
- Maintain the primary coordination relationship with Global Software Release Management (GSRM) on Base/Core/Extended Load categorization decisions.
- Coordinate with Remote Client Management (RCM) on release maintenance (dw-SRM Base/Core/Extended Load) in the software distribution setting and on DynApCo-based application configuration and SIT@Web onboarding.
- Coordinate with Windows Application Owners on the current base image and released software load.

Escalation, Mentoring &

- Reporting :
- Act as senior escalation point for packaging and GAC-related incidents and complex Application Owner issues.
- Mentor L2 packaging and AO Support engineers on process, tooling, and quality standards.
- Ensure Service Manager and company-representative roles (or their deputies) remain reachable throughout all applicable service hours.
