Della Luxury creates distinctive, premium furniture and lifestyle products designed around luxury, craftsmanship, functionality and exceptional aesthetics.

We are looking for talented Furniture Designers and Senior Furniture Designers who have hands-on experience in conceptualising and developing furniture for luxury residences, premium offices, hospitality spaces, villas and high-end interiors.

This is a design-led role for professionals who can take an idea from concept to design development, technical detailing, prototype and production, while maintaining a strong luxury design sensibility.

Role Overview The Furniture Designer / Senior Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating original furniture concepts, collections and bespoke pieces for Della Luxury.

The role requires a combination of creative thinking, design expertise, technical understanding, material knowledge and manufacturing awareness.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand a design brief, develop concepts, create detailed designs, work with materials and craftsmen, develop prototypes and collaborate with production teams to bring the final product to life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Furniture Design & Concept Development

- Develop original and innovative furniture concepts for luxury residences, offices, hospitality and premium spaces.
- Create furniture collections aligned with Della Luxury's design language.
- Develop sketches, mood boards, references and design concepts.
- Explore new forms, proportions, materials, finishes and detailing.
- Develop bespoke furniture based on specific project and client requirements.

1. Design Development

- Convert concepts into detailed furniture designs ready for prototyping and production.
- Develop 2D drawings, 3D models, elevations, sections and detailed specifications.
- Ensure correct dimensions, proportions, ergonomics, functionality and aesthetics.
- Develop design variations based on cost, material availability and manufacturing feasibility.

1. Luxury Materials & Finishes

- Work extensively with premium materials such as solid wood, veneers, metals, marble, stone, glass, leather, fabrics and specialty finishes.
- Research innovative materials, hardware, mechanisms and surface finishes.
- Develop distinctive combinations of materials and finishes.
- Maintain a strong understanding of luxury craftsmanship and detailing.

1. Prototype & Production Coordination

- Work closely with craftsmen, fabricators and production teams to develop prototypes.
- Review prototypes and identify design, functional,



dimensional and finishing issues.
- Make design modifications based on prototype feedback.
- Ensure the final product accurately reflects the approved design intent.
- Participate in quality inspections and production reviews.

1. Collaboration & Project Coordination

- Work closely with architects, interior designers, project teams, production teams and vendors.
- Understand project requirements and translate them into furniture solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers regarding drawings, materials, samples and execution.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timelines are achieved.

1. Design Research & Innovation

- Research global luxury furniture brands, designers, architecture and interior trends.
- Study international furniture collections, materials, manufacturing techniques and emerging design trends.
- Bring new ideas and innovative design approaches to Della Luxury.
- Build and maintain a strong design reference and inspiration library.

Senior Furniture Designer Additional Responsibilities For the Senior Furniture Designer, the role will additionally include:

- Lead furniture design concepts and collections from brief to production.
- Independently manage multiple design projects.
- Guide Junior Furniture Designers and design team members.
- Review and approve design concepts, drawings and prototypes.
- Establish design direction, quality standards and detailing.
- Work closely with senior management on new furniture collections and bespoke requirements.
- Lead vendor/craftsman coordination for complex furniture development.
- Identify opportunities for design innovation and cost optimisation without compromising luxury.
- Develop a strong and differentiated Della Luxury Furniture Design Language.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Furniture Designer

- 3–7 years of relevant furniture design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating actual furniture designed and developed by the candidate.

- Experience creating furniture for

- Luxury residences

- Premium/luxury offices
- High-end hospitality

- Luxury villas

- Premium interior projects
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, finishes and manufacturing.
- Ability to take designs from concept through prototype and production.
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensitivity.

Senior Furniture Designer
- 7–12+ years of relevant furniture design experience.




- Strong track record of designing and developing luxury furniture collections and bespoke pieces.
- Experience working with luxury residences, premium offices, hospitality or high-end interior projects.
- Proven ability to independently lead projects from concept design prototype production.
- Strong vendor, manufacturing and craftsmanship understanding.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers.

They should understand how furniture is actually made, how materials behave, how details are executed and how a design can be translated into a high-quality finished product.

A strong portfolio is essential.
