We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of the U.S. freight market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proven experience in booking loads, sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and managing shipments from pickup to delivery.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and have the ability to build strong relationships with both shippers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and book freight loads from shippers and freight platforms.
- Find and qualify reliable carriers for available loads.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and customers.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, appointments, and shipment details.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, carriers, shippers, and customers.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates throughout the transportation process.
- Handle delays, cancellations, detention, layovers, and other operational issues.
- Verify carrier information, insurance, authority, and required documentation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers and customers.
- Monitor market rates and transportation trends to maximize profitability.
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in the company’s TMS/CRM.
- Follow up on quotes, leads, and potential business opportunities.
- Ensure all loads are properly documented and completed according to company procedures.
- Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly booking and revenue targets.

Requirements




- 2+ years of proven experience as a Freight Broker / Logistics Broker / Carrier Sales Representative.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. trucking and freight market.
- Experience with DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards.
- Experience negotiating freight rates with carriers and customers.
- Strong understanding of lanes, equipment types, rates, and carrier availability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple loads simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Experience with TMS, CRM, or logistics software is preferred.
- Ability to work U.S. business hours.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience handling dry van, reefer, flatbed, box truck, LTL, or other U.S. freight will be preferred.

Compensation Competitive Salary + Performance-Based Incentives/Commission

Compensation will be based on experience, freight-booking performance, and overall results.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
