Position- FLO Mechanical

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Purpose:

To manage all mechanical aspects of greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects ensuring successful execution from design and engineering through procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover. The role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Engineering and Manufacturing-

The candidate should have a positive experience and knowledge of Design, Engineering, manufacturing, inspection and testing of
1. Static Equipment like Metallic (CS and SS) and non-metallic (FRP) tanks, vessels and other static equipment. The incumbent should be conversant with latest version of relevant national/ international standards/ codes and practices.
2. Rotary Equipment like- different kind of pumps, Fans/ Blowers, Compressors, Dryers, chillers, AHUS, EOT Cranes & Hoists, Conveyors & Feeders,
3. Process Equipment like- Evaporators, Absorbers, Dissolvers/Blenders, Mixing Equipment
4. ETP, WTP
5. Firefighting and HVAC equipment
6. Exposure / Experience in VSF / Excel Fibre plants will be and added advantage
7.



Piping Fabrication and Installation-
8. Should be proficient in studying and analysing P&IDs; and Piping isometrics.
9. Derive MTOs from isometrics
10. Should have sound experience in fabrication, installation and testing of metallic (CS and SS) and non-metallic (FRP) piping and piping supports
11. Structural fabrication and Erection
12. Sound experience in welding methods, practices, tests, surface preparation and painting
13. Equipment Installation, levelling, alignment, testing, trail runs, pre-commissioning and commissioning
14. Coordination with external agencies like- Engineering Consultant, Equipment and component suppliers, OEMS, Construction Partners
15. Interdisciplinary coordination for smooth project execution, handover and takeover etc.

- Industry Exposure:e.g., Chemicals, Cement, Textiles, Power, Manufacturing
- Proficient in project planning tools and maintenance software (e.g., SAP PM, CMMS).
