Position: Industrial Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
Location: Rourkela, Odisha
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Fresher to Experienced candidates can apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, and equipment manuals.
- Perform machine fitting, alignment, dismantling, and reassembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment safely.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and support troubleshooting activities.
- Carry out fabrication, fitting, and maintenance-related work as required.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools/equipment are properly handled.
Eligibility & Skills:
- ITI Fitter / Mechanical trade qualification preferred.
- Relevant industrial experience will be an advantage.
- Freshers with ITI Fitter qualification may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, measurements, and machine components.
- Ability to work in an industrial setting and follow safety standards.
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.
