Position: Firmware Development Apps Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Contract :12 Months

Top 3 Skills: Firmware Development & Debugging | Embedded x86 / Platform Debug | Customer Escalation Management

- Lead firmware technical engagements with external customers, FAEs and engineering teams.
- Drive customer escalations involving firmware functionality, integration, customization and platform enablement.
- Hands-on experience in low-level firmware development, debugging and platform bring-up.
- Debug complex issues across firmware, BIOS, silicon, OS, drivers and hardware.
- Strong understanding of boot flows, platform initialization, secure boot, power management and platform security.
- Develop structured debug plans,



root-cause analysis, workarounds and drive issues to closure.
- Support customer-specific firmware configurations, feature enablement and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with Firmware, BIOS, Silicon, Platform, Validation and Product teams.
- Support customer workshops, technical discussions, training and field enablement.
- Develop automation/debug tools to improve firmware investigation and productivity.
- Robust hands-on experience with C/C++, Python, Shell scripting, Linux/Embedded Linux.
- Experience with OEM/ODM, customer escalations and production deployments is preferred.
- Experience with embedded, networking, automotive, storage, communications or compute platforms is a plus.

Education: Bachelors degree in EE/ECE/Computer Engineering/CS or related field.
