Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Finance / Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, cost management, and strategic financial decision-making.

The candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights to management, ensuring financial discipline and compliance, improving operational efficiency, and leading the finance team effectively.

Key Requirements

- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification
- MBA in Finance will be an added advantage
- Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a financial leadership/managerial role
- Experience in Service and Manufacturing industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of Direct Taxation (Income Tax) and Indirect Taxation (GST)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting standards, compliance frameworks, and company law procedures
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modelling, MIS and financial analytics
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Tamil and English

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership





- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management on business performance, risks and opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency.
- Support management in strategic financial decision-making.

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and Cash Flow Statement.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of MIS and financial reports.
- Monitor receivables, collections and outstanding payments.
- Provide data-driven financial analysis and insights to management and stakeholders.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators and identify areas requiring corrective action.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting process.
- Ensure budgets are aligned with organizational goals and business plans.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and analyse variances.
- Recommend corrective measures to control costs and improve financial performance.

1. Cost & Efficiency Management





- Develop and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Monitor project costs, operational expenses and overheads.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved profitability.
- Strengthen financial controls and improve overall operational efficiency.

1. Taxation & Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with Income Tax, GST and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and statutory authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations and company law procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

1. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, manage and mentor the finance and accounting team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop team capabilities through training and professional development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Works Closely With: Top Management / Key Stakeholders

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with strong experience in Finance & Accounts, Financial Planning & Analysis, MIS, Budgeting, Taxation, GST, Income Tax, Cost Control, Auditing, Compliance and Team Management are preferred.
