Job Title - Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

The role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with local accounting standards

Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, management reporting packages, balance sheet reviews, profit and loss statements, manufacturing cost reports, inventory reports, budget variance analyses, and other financial reports required by local and regional management.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

The Finance Manager must demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

1. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline is required. A professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
2. Professional Experience Minimum 8-12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a finance leadership or supervisory role. Experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
3. Manufacturing Finance & Cost Accounting Strong experience in product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing variance analysis, fixed asset accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting within a manufacturing business.
4. Accounting, Tax & Compliance Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, corporate taxation, transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and financial compliance requirements.



Experience managing internal and external audits is essential.
5. Cash Flow & Banking Management Experience in working capital management, cash flow forecasting, banking administration, foreign exchange transactions, and bank guarantee management within a manufacturing or multinational setting.
6. Systems & Technology Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or equivalent. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial reporting and analytical skills are required.
7. Financial Analysis & Commercial Acumen Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to convert financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
8. Communication & Stakeholder Management Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and engage with factory management, auditors, banking partners, tax advisors, and regional finance teams.
9. Attention to Detail & Personal Attributes Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and professionalism. Able to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.
10. Language Proficiency Strong written and spoken English is required. Additional regional language capability is advantageous.
11. Travel & Global Coordination Willingness to travel occasionally within the region as required and the ability to participate in virtual meetings with global teams across different time zones. And possess a current valid passport
