Role Description The Finance Head role at Watsoo Express is a full-time, in office position based in Gurgaon. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

The Finance

Head will develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals, ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions. Day-to-day activities include monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, guiding cost optimization initiatives, and providing strategic input to senior leadership on investments, risk management, and long-term planning. The role also involves leading the finance team,



establishing robust internal controls, and supporting technology-driven improvements in financial processes and data visibility.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control initiatives in a growth-oriented organization.
- Capability to develop and implement financial strategies that support business expansion, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Leadership experience in managing and mentoring finance teams, and in building effective cross-functional relationships.
- Comfort with financial systems, ERP tools, and technology-driven process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail and ethical judgment.
- Clear and concise communication skills for presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders and non-finance teams.
- Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in a technology, logistics, or data-driven organization is an advantage.
