Responsibilities Heads

Accounting

Maintain financial reporting processes as per relevant accounting standards & corporate laws

Timeliness & Accuracy

Preparation and & finalization of financial results & other MIS Reports

Monthly comparison with actuals, variance analysis with justification

Resolve the statutory & internal auditors queries / observations

Funds Management

Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs

Timeliness & Accuracy

Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

Maintain banking relationships

Arrange for equity and debt financin

Financial Management / Analysis

Timeliness & Accuracy

Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement

Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities





Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput

Budgeting

Timliness & Accuracy

Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances

Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Statutory Compliance

Compliance to the provisions of all applicable statutory acts

Timeliness & Accuracy To get assessment done for direct and indirect Taxes

Managing Receivables & Payments To monitor collections vs budget and enforce appropriate checks and controls

Timeliness & Accuracy To regulate & monitor critical payments

Maintain control over debtor's accounts, debtor's ageing and their reconciliation issuance & approval of credit notes accordingly

Monitoring credit policy, credit terms, sales return, collections vs. budget and enforce appropriate checks and controls etc.
