The Field Recruiter will identify, attract and mobilise skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers for SISCO’s manufacturing operations. The role involves building local recruitment networks, conducting recruitment drives and coordinating candidates through screening, trade tests and joining.

Responsibilities include:

- Understand manpower requirements, required trades, eligibility criteria and joining timelines in coordination with HR and department heads.

- Source welders, fitters, fabricators, machine operators, electricians, grinders, helpers and trainees through field visits and direct outreach.

- Build relationships with ITIs, polytechnics, skill development centres, placement officers and local employment networks.

- Conduct recruitment drives in nearby towns, villages and industrial areas, and participate in relevant job fairs.

- Develop employee referral networks and maintain a pool of candidates for recurring and urgent requirements.

- Screen candidates for relevant experience, qualifications, trade exposure, salary expectations and availability.

- Clearly explain the job, work location, shifts, wages, perks and applicable accommodation or transport arrangements.

- Coordinate interviews and trade tests with the relevant departments and follow up with selected candidates until joining.

- Collect required candidate documents and coordinate verification and onboarding with HR.

- Follow up with new joiners during their initial employment period, identify joining difficulties and report reasons for early exits.





- Maintain recruitment records and submit daily or weekly reports covering field visits, candidates sourced, interviews, selections, joinings and pending requirements.

Requirements for the role:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree or Master's in any discipline; relevant field recruitment experience will be an advantage.

- Experience in recruiting workers for manufacturing, heavy engineering, fabrication or industrial staffing is preferred.

- Familiarity with shop-floor trades and the ability to conduct basic suitability screening before technical assessment.

- Strong spoken Tamil and good interpersonal skills; Hindi proficiency is an advantage when recruiting workers from other states.

- Basic English reading and writing skills for maintaining records and reports.

- Willingness to travel regularly and independently organise field visits and recruitment drives.

- Good communication, persuasion, follow-up and relationship-building skills.

- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, smartphone-based recruitment tools and candidate database management.

- Ability to work towards agreed recruitment targets while maintaining candidate quality and accurate records.

- A valid driving licence and access to a two-wheeler are preferred for local field visits.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
