Job Title / Role: FGL - HVAC

Location: Hosur Job Purpose Own the design, development, integration, validation and industrialization of HVAC systems for Commercial Mobility vehicles (3W & 4W), ensuring occupant comfort, thermal performance, energy efficiency, reliability, manufacturability,



cost and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop HVAC system architecture and subsystem specifications.
- Engineer HVAC modules, blower systems, ducts, vents, controls, compressor interfaces, condensers, evaporators and refrigerant circuits.
- Define cooling, heating, demisting and defrosting performance requirements.
- Coordinate integration with Body, Electrical, Powertrain and Vehicle Architecture teams.
- Prepare specifications, DFMEA, DVP&R;, engineering releases and design documentation.
- Support CAE simulations and thermal performance optimization.
- Plan and execute component, subsystem and vehicle validation activities.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for test and field concerns.
- Drive supplier design reviews, APQP, PPAP and production readiness activities.
- Support prototype builds, vehicle evaluations and launch activities.
- Achieve cost, weight, quality, durability and performance targets.
- Benchmark emerging HVAC technologies and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with automotive regulations, standards and internal processes.

Education B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Thermal, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related Engineering discipline. Experience 5-10 years of experience in HVAC system design, development, validation or vehicle thermal management within automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

Internal and External Interactions

Internal - Body Engineering, Electrical, Powertrain, CAE, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchase, SQA, Program Management and Service. External - HVAC suppliers, testing laboratories, tooling partners and engineering service providers.
