About the Role

Elite Design Academy is looking for an experienced and creative Fashion Designing Trainer to train students in fashion design, textile design, fashion business, and creative design.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the fashion and textile industry and be capable of guiding students through hands-on projects, design development, portfolio creation, and industry-oriented assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and industry-oriented training sessions in Fashion Designing and Textile Design.
- Teach students the fundamentals of fashion design, design development, garment concepts, and fashion illustration.
- Train students in textile design, fabric selection, surface design, patterns, textures, and colour coordination.
- Teach fashion sketching, mood boards, concept development, and collection planning.
- Introduce students to fashion trends, market research, consumer preferences, and fashion forecasting.
- Provide practical guidance on fabric selection, garment styling, embellishments, and design execution.
- Train students in developing fashion collections and individual design projects.
- Teach fundamentals of fashion business, branding, merchandising, and marketing.
- Guide students in creating professional fashion portfolios and presentations.
- Conduct practical assignments, workshops, design exercises, and project-based learning.
- Mentor students throughout their projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, textile innovations, design techniques, and industry developments.
- Help students understand the qualified workflow from concept → design → textile/fabric → garment → presentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of professional experience in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Education, or a related field.




- Strong knowledge of fashion design and textile design principles.
- Good understanding of fashion illustration, colour theory, fabrics, patterns, textures, and garment construction.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, styling, collection development, and fashion merchandising.
- Understanding of fashion business, branding, and marketing.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain fashion concepts clearly to students.
- Robust mentoring and student-handling skills.
- Ability to conduct practical workshops and project-based training.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Fashion Designing Trainer, Fashion Faculty, Fashion Designer, or Textile Designer.
- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Experience working with fashion brands, design studios, textile companies, or apparel businesses.
- Experience developing fashion collections or professional design portfolios.
- Knowledge of fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CLO 3D, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Experience with hand embroidery, textile painting, surface embellishment, or traditional textile techniques will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
