Senior Software Engineer (Java-IAM Services)

Mode of employment: Permanent with FactSet

Work Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid mode)

What You'll Do

- Design and build mission critical IAM services, primarily in Java
- Develop and support large-scale, global systems that adhere to security compliance
- Work with AWS and on-premises systems to deploy services
- Develop and maintain current and future state IAM documentation and standards
- Participate in code-reviews and proactively take ownership of PRs and make sure to catch all security vulnerabilities
- Proper collaboration and interaction with multiple teams across FactSet and respond to stake holder queries in a timely manner
- Learn about the errors and incidents in production while participating in the on-call rotation as and when required

What Were Looking For

- Bachelors degree, or higher, in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of programming experience in Java or another OOP language
- Candidate should have experience with IAM authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect & SAML.
- Built services using a relational database (e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure etc)
- Willing to participate in on-call rotation

You may be a positive fit for this role if you have:

- Implemented role-based access control systems in large, distributed environment
- Written RESTful HTTP APIs




- A strong understanding of browser functionality (e.g. Cookies, CORS)
