About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Freight Broker to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight movements between shippers and carriers, sourcing reliable carriers, negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring the smooth execution of shipments from booking through delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of the US trucking market, and the ability to work effectively in a target-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate freight shipments between shippers and carriers.
- Source and develop relationships with reliable carriers across the US market.
- Search for suitable trucks based on equipment type, location, capacity, and shipment requirements.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers while maintaining profitability.
- Book loads with appropriate carriers and ensure all required information is accurately communicated.
- Track shipments from booking to delivery and provide timely updates.
- Maintain regular communication with carriers, shippers, and internal teams.
- Handle rate negotiations, confirmations, tracking updates, and shipment-related issues.
- Monitor carrier performance and maintain professional carrier relationships.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to shipments.
- Resolve operational issues and coordinate with relevant parties to minimize delays.
- Meet individual and team targets related to load booking, revenue, margins, and carrier development.
- Maintain proper records of shipments, carrier details, rates,



and communication.
- Follow company policies, processes, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months–3 years of experience in US Logistics / Freight Brokerage / Carrier Sales.
- Good understanding of the US trucking and transportation market.
- Knowledge of truck and equipment types such as Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Step Deck, RGN, Straight Box, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain carrier relationships.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working in the US night shift.
- Basic knowledge of logistics software, load boards, and communication tools is preferred.
