Role Objective To manage HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations, and administrative functions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth workforce management and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations
- Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of factory staff.
- Maintain employee records and ensure timely documentation.
- Assist in performance appraisal processes and career progression tracking.
2. Compliance & Statutory
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, and other labor laws.
- Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits.
- Maintain records of contract labor and ensure contractor compliance.
3. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Support employee engagement initiatives (recognition, welfare programs, safety awareness).
- Assist in managing industrial relations and union coordination, if applicable.
4. Training & Development
- Organize safety training and compliance workshops for employees.
- Identify skill gaps and support technical and soft skills training.
- Conduct orientation programs for recent joiners.
5. Administration
- Oversee housekeeping, security, and transport services.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the factorys administrative needs.
- Maintain records of disciplinary proceedings and resolutions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in HR & Admin, preferably in pharmaceutical / chemical / FMCG manufacturing units.
