Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQs, and cost estimates for civil construction projects.

- Study and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings, specifications and project requirements.

- Prepare accurate material, labour and project cost estimates.

- Conduct rate analysis based on current market rates, material prices and labour costs.

- Review drawings and identify quantities, specifications, scope and potential variations.

- Prepare tender estimates, quotations and commercial proposals.

- Collect and compare quotations from suppliers, subcontractors and vendors.

- Coordinate with project, procurement, site and design teams to ensure accurate estimation.

- Prepare detailed estimation sheets, cost comparisons and project budgets.

- Monitor project costs against approved estimates and identify cost variations.

- Verify site measurements and quantities wherever required.

- Assist in preparing contractor bills, work orders and variation statements.





- Maintain estimation databases, rate records and project documentation.

- Support tendering and pre-contract activities.

- Ensure estimates are accurate, commercially competitive and submitted within deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.

- 2-7 years of relevant experience in civil estimation, quantity surveying, construction costing or billing.

- knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, estimation and rate analysis.

- Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural and structural drawings.

- Positive knowledge of construction materials, methods and specifications.

- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet tender
