We are hiring for an Equity Research Analyst – Pharma role with a leading financial services firm.
The role involves conducting in-depth fundamental research on companies across the Pharmaceutical sector, developing investment insights and contributing to institutional equity research.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental research on Pharmaceutical companies.
- Build and maintain financial and valuation models.
- Analyse company financials, earnings and business performance.
- Track pharma industry trends, regulatory developments and company-specific developments.
- Develop investment theses and actionable research insights.
- Prepare research reports, result updates and sector reports.
- Participate in management interactions, analyst meets and conference calls.
- Track developments across covered companies and sectors.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in Equity Research.
- Experience covering the Pharma sector is preferred.
- Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills.
- Valuable understanding of valuation and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Candidates from Institutional Equity Research / Sell-Side Research backgrounds will be preferred.
