Role & responsibilities

- Handle electrical breakdown maintenance of production machinery.

- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule.

- Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, control panels, motors, sensors and electrical circuits.

- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets and plant electrical systems.

- Analyze breakdowns and implement RCA / corrective actions to reduce downtime.

- Ensure machine availability and targeted equipment uptime.

- Monitor and reduce energy losses such as electricity and compressed air.

- Maintain spares, identify critical electrical components and support spare planning.

- Read and interpret electrical drawings and control circuits.

- Follow LOTO, electrical safety and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Utility and external vendors.

- Maintain breakdown records, PM records and maintenance reports.

- Guide technicians and develop the maintenance team's troubleshooting skills.

- Participate in TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
