Role & responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Emergency Department (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill and emergency patients.

Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.

Manage emergency cases, including initial stabilization and appropriate escalation of care.

Coordinate with specialists, nursing staff, and other departments for patient management.

Assist in managing critical emergencies, including resuscitation and life-support procedures within the doctor's training and scope of practice.

Ensure timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical updates.

Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.

Participate in emergency and ICU duty rosters as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

MBBS with MD/DNB Emergency Medicine, MD/DNB Anaesthesiology, MD/DNB General Medicine, or DM/DrNB Critical Care Medicine, as applicable to the role.





Candidates with relevant experience in both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care will be considered.

Experience in managing emergency and critically ill patients in a hospital setting.

Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.

Valid medical registration and qualification verification.

Willingness to work in ER and ICU duties, including shifts and emergencies.

Freshers or candidates with limited experience should be considered only if their qualification and actual clinical training meet the hospital's requirements.
