- Operate and monitor zinc plating, cadmium plating, and anodizing lines in accordance with approved aerospace process specifications, work instructions, and process parameters.

- Perform pre-treatment, cleaning, activation, plating/anodizing, rinsing, sealing, and post-treatment operations to achieve required coating thickness, appearance, adhesion, and corrosion resistance.

- Prepare and maintain plating and anodizing baths, including chemical additions, concentration checks, pH, temperature, current density, voltage, time, and other specified process parameters.

- Handle rectifiers, heating/cooling systems, filtration, agitation, exhaust systems, pumps, tanks, racks, and process-control equipment safely and effectively.

- Verify component identification, drawing requirements, masking, racking, contact points, and loading arrangements before processing to prevent damage and ensure uniform coating.

- Conduct routine in-process inspections and measurements, including coating thickness, visual appearance, coverage, adhesion, and other specified quality checks, and record results accurately.

- Maintain complete batch/job records, chemical analysis records, process parameter logs, inspection records,



and traceability documentation in accordance with aerospace quality requirements.

- Follow strict chemical handling, PPE, EHS, hazardous-material, waste-treatment, spill-control, and emergency-response procedures, particularly when handling cadmium and other hazardous chemicals.

- Identify abnormal conditions such as bath contamination, incorrect parameters, poor coating coverage, burning, discoloration, adhesion failures, or equipment malfunction, and immediately inform the supervisor/quality team.

- Maintain 5S, housekeeping, equipment cleanliness, and protected working practices while supporting internal, customer, and aerospace special-process audits and ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and standards.
