We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our facility/projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and electrical technicians.
- Plan, schedule, and assign tasks ensuring timely project completion.
- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with industry standards, safety codes, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues on-site.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repair work.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety procedures.
- Order and manage inventory for electrical supplies and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications: Licensed Electrician or equivalent certification (if required by location).
