Electrical Technician

- 8 -10 years experience with food processing and bakery equipment such as ovens, grill machines, liquid cookers, defrosting units, cooling tunnels, vacuum systems, sealing machines, spiral freezers, packing machines, make-up lines, tunnel ovens, topping lines, and flow-pack machinery. Also familiar with utility systems including boilers, chillers, RO systems, ammonia compressors, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
- Work with and be conversant in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), inverters, and motor speed controllers (e.g., Delta, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, ABB, etc.).
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical, electromechanical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Apply knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of PLC systems for machine automation and control logic troubleshooting.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) safety procedures and ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards.
