We are looking for an experienced Electrical BIM Coordinator to lead the coordination, quality control, and integration of electrical systems within our multi-disciplinary 3D models. In this role, you will go beyond modeling to oversee electrical workflows, run clash detection tests, and collaborate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure a fully coordinated, buildable design before construction begins.

Key Responsibilities

- Model Coordination: Oversee the electrical BIM workflow, ensuring cable trays, conduits, lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems are accurately modeled and integrated.

- Clash Detection &
- Resolution:

Run clash detection tests using Navisworks, lead multi-disciplinary coordination meetings, and systematically resolve spatial conflicts between electrical containment and structural/HVAC elements.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical models adhere to project BIM execution plans (BEP), company standards, and specified Levels of Development (LOD 300/400).

- Documentation:

Verify that electrical data (panel schedules, circuiting parameters, load classifications) is accurately embedded in the model, and oversee the extraction of coordinated shop drawings.

Qualifications &

- Skills

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in MEP BIM coordination, with a robust focus on electrical systems.

- Software Expertise: Advanced mastery of Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks Manage, and cloud platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical containment routing logic, clearances around switchgear/panels, and standard building codes.

- Leadership &
- Communication:

Excellent communication skills to chair clash resolution meetings and coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers.
