Job Summary

We are looking for an EHS professional with 1-4 years of experience to support and implement Environment, Health & Safety systems at our manufacturing/industrial facilities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, promoting safe work practices, conducting inspections, and maintaining EHS documentation. Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards at the site.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety statutory requirements.
- Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees, contract workers, and visitors.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and prepare reports with corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor PPE compliance and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, fire safety inspections, and evacuation drills.
- Monitor fire protection systems, emergency equipment, first-aid facilities, and safety signage.
- Maintain EHS records, registers, inspection reports, training records, and statutory documents.
- Monitor hazardous waste, chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices.
- Support environmental monitoring activities such as air, water, wastewater,



emissions, and waste management.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Participate in internal and external EHS audits and help close audit observations.
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement across the facility.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety or relevant EHS qualification will be an advantage.
- 14 years of relevant experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of applicable EHS legislation and statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of fire safety, industrial safety, PPE, risk assessment, and emergency response.
- Valuable communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
