Role: Senior .NET Engineer

Role Overview: Senior .NET Engineer with experience in building contemporary web applications using Microsoft technologies. Strong expertise in .NET Core and React-based front-end development, with solid familiarity with legacy .NET Framework systems and background worker services.

Must Have – Technical Skills:

5–8 years of experience developing applications on the Microsoft stack

Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Core (primary); working knowledge of .NET Framework for maintaining and migrating legacy systems

Strong front-end skills in React, Next.js, and CSS (including responsive design and component-based architecture)

Experience building and maintaining Worker Services and background processing pipelines

Proficiency in ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful service design

Solid understanding of MS SQL Server and relational database design

Awareness of web application security vulnerabilities (OWASP) and ability to address them in code

Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment patterns





Solid grasp of software design patterns and SOLID principles

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kubernetes or containerized deployments

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

Prior exposure to migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET Core (backend) and React/Next.js (frontend)

Build and operate background Worker Services for async and scheduled processing

Contribute to and enforce code review standards across the team

Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the codebase

Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in project meetings and status calls

Deliver features to deadline with appropriate quality, proactively resolving blockers

Absorb new technical requirements quickly and apply them with minimal ramp-up

Take accountability for the quality of deliverables from the team
