About ONDC

Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is building open digital infrastructure to democratise digital commerce in India.

DigiCatalog is ONDC's initiative to create a trusted, standardised product catalogue infrastructure enabling product information to be created once, verified, enriched and reused across the ecosystem.

For DigiCatalog to work at scale, its product and brand information must remain correct, complete, compliant and well-governed. That is where you come in.

The Role

We are looking for a DigiCatalog Admin to oversee the day-to-day administration, governance and quality of the DigiCatalog platform.

You will lead the Catalog & Brand Verification Operators, own complex and escalated cases, ensure verification policies and SLAs are followed, and act as the final operational authority for decisions that cannot be resolved through standard workflows.

This is a hands-on operations leadership role requiring strong judgement, process discipline and the ability to balance quality, compliance and operational efficiency.

What You'll Own

- Oversee brand and catalog verification operations, ensuring submissions are reviewed accurately and within defined SLAs.
- Manage and guide the Catalog & Brand Verification Operators, review their decisions, resolve escalations and provide ongoing feedback and training.
- Own complex cases involving brand ownership, product verification, duplicates/variants, claims, compliance and supporting documentation.
- Act as the operational escalation point for ambiguous, high-risk or disputed cases and ensure decisions are supported by appropriate evidence.




- Ensure applicable regulatory and certification requirements such as FSSAI, BIS, AGMARK and other category-specific rules are correctly followed.
- Oversee user access, roles and administrative permissions and ensure platform actions follow defined governance policies.
- Monitor catalogue quality, review queues, rejection patterns, rework and other operational metrics to identify areas requiring intervention.
- Maintain robust audit and governance discipline, ensuring approvals, rejections, overrides and escalations are properly documented.
- Define and improve SOPs, review guidelines and escalation processes as DigiCatalog expands across categories and use cases.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to surface recurring platform issues, improve workflows and reduce manual intervention over time.

What Success Looks Like You become the person accountable for the operational integrity of DigiCatalog.

Verification queues run within SLA, operator decisions remain accurate and consistent, complex cases are resolved with clear reasoning, and no high-risk or non-compliant information is approved without appropriate checks.

You also help the platform improve over time by identifying recurring issues and converting them into better processes, policies or product capabilities.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce/catalogue operations, marketplace operations, trust & safety,



compliance operations, KYC/KYB, content/data moderation or similar roles.
- Prior experience leading or supervising an operations team and reviewing the quality of their decisions.
- Strong understanding of catalogue and marketplace operations, including brands, SKUs, product attributes, categories, variants and product identifiers.
- Strong analytical judgement and ability to make decisions in complex or ambiguous cases based on available evidence and policy.
- Good understanding of operational governance, SOPs, SLAs, escalations, quality audits and process controls.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards and web-based admin/operational tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for documenting decisions and working across Product, Operations and Engineering teams.
- Comfortable overseeing AI-assisted workflows and determining when system recommendations require human intervention.
- High integrity and accountability when managing sensitive business information and platform-level administrative access.

A strong plus Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, GeM, ONDC or large marketplace operations | team leadership in catalogue or trust operations | brand/trademark verification | FSSAI/BIS/AGMARK compliance | GST/KYC/KYB operations | FMCG, grocery or electronics catalogue management.
