- To plan the efficient operation and process for technical services department and ensure their maximum uptime.
- To review all the preventive maintenance plans with respect to manpower time (planned by maintenance/Hardware/instrumentation Managers) activities for all equipments at the plant.
- To oversee the execution of those plans with respect to safety norms, statutory compliance, inspection trials by the entire team
- To review any new projects and installation issues (if required)
- To review the inventory control of critical parts while ensuring minimum waste of money storage space
- To manage and ensure that all the instruments at the plant are calibrated to ISO specification.
- To supervise the maintenance of all the existing and current instruments as scheduled
- To train and conduct interventions whenever required for the team effectiveness, productivity and ensure maximum output.
- To approve the critical spares as when required by the department to minimize cost
