We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in UG NX and Sheet Metal Design, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using UG NX.
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for automotive applications.
- Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;.
- Perform design modifications based on engineering and customer requirements.
- Develop sheet metal parts considering bending, forming, thickness, bend allowance, and manufacturability.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
- Support design validation and resolve design-related issues.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Follow automotive design standards and documentation processes.
Mandatory Skills
- UG NX – Mandatory
- Sheet Metal Design – Mandatory
- 1+ years of Automotive Industry experience – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D Drafting
- Positive knowledge of GD&T;
- Experience in automotive component/assembly design
- Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and design standards
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
