Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber, techno-functional Engineering Delivery Head to lead large-scale Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) portfolios for our global clients, primarily across the US and UK markets.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic solution partner to C-level client executives while owning end-to-end delivery execution, account growth, team leadership, and P&L; accountability.

The ideal candidate is a technology leader at heart who started their career writing code, evolved into a hands-on Technical Architect, and has progressively scaled into senior delivery leadership. Key Responsibilities

1. Account Delivery & Portfolio Management

- Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) programs for B2B global enterprise clients (US/UK).
- Drive delivery excellence across all active engagements, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs, milestones, quality standards, and governance frameworks.
- Act as an executive escalation point for major client projects, resolving high-impact technical and delivery bottlenecks swiftly.
- Manage multi-location delivery setups, fostering seamless collaboration between onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.

2. Techno-Functional Advisory & Solutioning

- Serve as a trusted technology advisor and solution architect to executive-level client stakeholders, understanding their business goals and translating them into robust scalable tech solutions.
- Anchor solution architecture for complex pitches, client proposals (RFPs/RFIs),



technology modernizations, and cloud/platform transformations.
- Maintain a deep, hands-on understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, microservices, AI/ML integrations, and enterprise tech stacks.

3. P&L; & Financial Management

- Hold full Profit & Loss (P&L;) accountability for the assigned business unit/portfolio.
- Drive operational efficiency, margin optimization, resource utilization, and cost control without compromising delivery quality or customer satisfaction.
- Partner with client leadership and sales teams to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and expand strategic key accounts.

4. Leadership & Talent Nurturing

- Mentor and lead engineering managers, delivery managers, solution architects, and technical leads across teams.
- Cultivate an engineering culture grounded in continuous learning, technical rigor, agile best practices, and high performance.
- Drive talent acquisition, capability building, and succession planning within the delivery unit.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Career Progression: Must have started as a Software Developer, progressed into a Technical Architect, and naturally evolved into a senior Delivery Head / Portfolio Leader.
- Global Exposure: Extensive experience interfacing directly with US, UK, and western enterprise clients in a B2B context. Deep understanding of cultural nuances, communication standards, and time-zone dynamics.




- ADM Expertise and Cross Functional Team collaboration: Cross functional engineering team collaboration and proven track record in overseeing large Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) programs under various engagement models (Managed Services, Fixed Price, Time & Material).
- P&L; Experience: Direct experience owning portfolio margins, resource management, budgeting, and overall P&L; metrics.
- Domain Experience: Prior background or domain expertise in EdTech (LMS, assessment engines, learning platforms, digital education ecosystems) is highly preferred.
- Location: Based in or willing to work out of Mumbai.

Technical & Functional Competencies

- Core Tech Fundamentals: Solid foundation in modern object-oriented programming languages, system design, scalable architecture, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps pipelines.
- Consultative Selling & Solutioning: Ability to whiteboard solutions with CXOs, lead architecture reviews, and craft winning enterprise proposals.
- Delivery Methodologies: Mastery of Agile/Scrum, Scaled Agile (SAFe), DevOps, and ITIL delivery frameworks.
- Analytical & Commercial Acumen: Strong grasping of revenue forecasting, billing models, margin analysis, and contractual agreements (MSA, SOW, SLA negotiation).
