Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, active, and responsible Day Care Teacher / Activity Teacher to take care of children during the evening hours. The candidate will be responsible for keeping children engaged through fun and educational activities, supervising them, and ensuring a secure, positive, and friendly environment.

The role is mainly focused on conducting activities, engaging children, supervising their playtime, and supporting their overall development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities for children.
- Engage children in drawing, colouring, craft, storytelling, rhymes, music, dance, puzzles and indoor games.
- Conduct fun learning activities related to alphabets, numbers, colours, shapes, general awareness, etc.
- Organize group activities that encourage creativity, communication, confidence and social skills.
- Supervise children during playtime and ensure their safety and discipline.
- Keep children actively engaged and avoid unnecessary screen time where possible.
- Encourage children to participate in activities and interact positively with other children.
- Provide individual attention and support to children whenever required.
- Assist children with basic needs such as snacks, drinking water, hygiene and washroom assistance, as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized and child-friendly activity area.
- Observe children's behaviour and inform the Centre In-charge/management about any concerns.




- Maintain basic records or updates related to children's attendance, activities and behaviour, if required.
- Communicate politely with parents/guardians regarding the child's daily activities or any important concern.
- Support special events, celebrations and activity-based programs organized at the centre.
- Coordinate with other daycare staff and follow all safety and childcare guidelines.
- Perform other child-care and activity-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
- Candidates with Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or similar qualifications will be preferred.
- Previous experience in daycare, preschool, school, activity centre or child-care environment will be an advantage.
- Freshers with a genuine interest in working with children may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate We are particularly looking for someone who is active, caring, patient and comfortable working in the evening shift, and who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and conducting activities for them.
