Key Responsibilities

● Process and quality-check near-surface geophysical datasets acquired through techniques such as:

○ Electrical Resistivity Imaging (ERI/ERT)

○ Seismic Refraction

○ MASW

○ ReMi

○ Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

○ Seismic Tomography

○ Other seismic, electrical and electromagnetic methods

● Review raw field data for noise, inconsistencies, acquisition errors and data quality issues.

● Carry out data editing, filtering, processing, inversion and modelling as appropriate to the survey method.

● Generate 2D/3D sections, profiles, velocity models, resistivity sections, radargrams and other project outputs.

● Prepare explicit and technically accurate figures, maps, sections and visualisations for reports.

● Work with project geophysicists to support interpretation of subsurface conditions.





● Identify anomalous data/features and flag areas requiring further technical review.

● Maintain appropriate documentation of processing workflows, parameters and quality-control checks.

● Support integration of datasets from multiple geophysical techniques.

● Assist in preparation of technical reports, presentations and project deliverables.

● Coordinate with field teams to understand acquisition conditions and resolve data-quality issues.

● Maintain organised project datasets and ensure adherence to PARSAN's quality procedures and documentation standards.

● Contribute to improving data-processing workflows, templates and technical methodologies.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
