Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale virtualized environments using VMware vSphere (ESXi) and KVM on Linux platforms.

- Provide technical support for production issues related to virtualization infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Develop automation scripts using Python or other languages to streamline tasks such as provisioning new servers, deploying applications, and performing backups.

Job Requirements :

- 5-15 years of experience in IT services & consulting with expertise in data center operations, hypervisor administration (VMware vSphere), KVM, Linux administration.

- Robust understanding of virtualization technologies like ESX Server/ESXI/Hyper-V; knowledge of VCenter management tool is an added advantage.

- Experience with automation tools like Ansible or PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSM); scripting skills in Python or similar languages are required.
