Data Architect – Solution Specialist (Fabric)

About the Role

We're looking for a mid-level Data Architect / Solution Specialist to design and build AI-driven data and analytics solutions on the Microsoft ecosystem — spanning Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry. You'll report to a senior architect/delivery lead, work hands-on on client implementations, and occasionally support pre-sales conversations. This is a technical build role first (roughly 90% hands-on delivery), not a pre-sales or people-leadership position.

What You Will Do

1. Design and implement AI-driven data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Power BI
2. Build and deploy Copilot Studio agents and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensions integrated with Dataverse, SharePoint, and line-of-business systems
3. Architect and develop generative AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry (Azure OpenAI Service, prompt flow, model orchestration)
4. Extend Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) with AI Builder and custom AI models
5. Support technical proposals and scoping documents under guidance from senior architects
6. Support client discovery workshops to identify AI use cases and quantify ROI
7. Collaborate with Power Platform, Dynamics 365,



and BI teams to embed AI capabilities into existing client implementations
8. Track the evolving Microsoft AI ecosystem and assess new capabilities for client applicability
9. Support sales and pre-sales teams on client demos, effort/cost estimation, and delivery planning (limited scope)

What We're Looking For

1. 4-7 years of experience in Microsoft cloud, data, or AI consulting/solution delivery
2. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics) — must-have
3. Hands-on experience with Azure AI services — must-have
4. Hands-on experience building and deploying Copilot Studio agents — must-have (all client projects run on Microsoft platform only)
5. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with generative AI or Copilot-based solutions
6. Experience migrating legacy BI/data warehouse workloads to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
7. Strong understanding of OneLake architecture and data lake design patterns
8. Prior experience in a client-facing consulting setting
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
10. Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to translate technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders
11. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent client engagements (team typically runs 3-4 projects at a time)
