About the Role –

We are seeking a detailoriented Data Analyst to support the Data Science & Analytics function. The role involves working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Finance, and Compliance teams to convert business data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, hands-on experience in data manipulation, dashboarding, and business performance analytics.

Responsibilities-

1. Business & Sales Analytics Analyse sales funnels, conversions, channel performance, product performance, and customer behaviour. Build structured reports to support revenue growth, market-share tracking, and business decision-making.

Data Exploration & Insight Generation Perform deep-dive analysis using large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Convert raw data into clear insights for business stakeholders.

3. IRDAI & Market Monitoring Work with IRDAI-published data to analyse market share, competition movement, product trends, and industry shifts. Support regulatory reporting and business insights derived from industry datasets.

4. Dashboarding & Reporting Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards on Power BI/Tableau to track KPIs, business performance, and forecasting trends. Automate recurring performance reports, MIS, and data refreshes.

5. Collaboration & Communication Partner with product, sales, and business teams to frame analytical problems and present insights effectively. Communicate findings in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.

6. Data Quality, Governance & Documentation Ensure accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across datasets. Maintain documentation of analytics processes, metrics definitions, and reporting frameworks.

Educational Qualifications – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related technical fields.

Competencies Required: –

Programming: Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python/R for data analysis and transformation.

Visualization: Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

Statistics: Understanding of basic statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis.

Data Handling: Experience working with large datasets, structured/unstructured data, and cloud-based data environments (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred).
