- Collect, analyze, and report cost data related to production and operations
- Prepare standard cost estimates and compare with actual costs
- Perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead)
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures
- Monitor inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare cost reports for management and recommend cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Work closely with production and procurement teams to control costs
