URGENT HIRING – HOSTEL KITCHEN STAFF

Megha & Omega Group of Institutions is hiring experienced kitchen staff for our Engineering College Hostel at Edulabad, Ghatkesar, serving approximately 600 hostel members.

Positions Available

1. Main Cook

- Prepare lunch, dinner, and other meals for approximately 600 members.
- Handle bulk cooking while maintaining taste, quality, and hygiene.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with food and grocery suppliers.

2. Tiffin Master

- Prepare a variety of breakfast and tiffin items for approximately 600 members.
- Knowledge of Idli, Dosa, Vada, Upma, Pongal, Poori, Chapati, and other breakfast items.
- Ensure timely preparation, consistent taste, quality, and quantity.
- Experience in large-scale tiffin preparation preferred.

3. Cutting Master

- Handle bulk cutting and preparation of vegetables and other ingredients.
- Ensure proper cleaning, cutting, and hygienic food preparation.
- Support Main Cooks and Tiffin Masters.

4. Kitchen Assistant

- Assist cooks and cutting masters with daily kitchen activities.
- Support washing, peeling,



cutting, grinding, cleaning, and serving.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a college hostel, school hostel, hotel, mess, or institutional kitchen preferred.
- Experience preparing food for 500–600+ members is an advantage.
- Knowledge of South Indian and Indian cuisine.
- Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen.
- Valuable knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
