Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer & Proofreader with 1-2 years of relevant experience in content writing, editing, and proofreading. The ideal candidate should have excellent written English, strong grammar and vocabulary, and the ability to create clear, engaging, and error-free content for different platforms and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, write, edit, and proofread content for social media, websites, blogs, campaigns, newsletters, and other communication materials.
- Create engaging and informative content aligned with the organisation’s initiatives and objectives.
- Write social media captions, articles, awareness content, campaign copy, and promotional content.
- Proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, clarity, and consistency.
- Identify and correct grammatical, factual, and formatting errors before content is published.
- Review and improve existing content while maintaining the intended message and tone.
- Develop content related to social awareness initiatives, blood donation campaigns, NGO activities, events, and community programmes.
- Conduct research on relevant topics and ensure content is accurate and up to date.




- Adapt content according to different platforms, audiences, and communication requirements.
- Coordinate with the Social Media, Outreach, HR, and other teams to understand content requirements.
- Maintain consistency in the organisation’s tone, language, and messaging.
- Ensure all assigned content is completed accurately and within the given deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Content Writing, Copywriting, Editing, or Proofreading.
- Excellent command of written English, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, creative, engaging, and audience-friendly content.
- Good research and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to understand different audiences and adapt writing accordingly.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media content and digital communication.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Canva, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or other content-editing tools will be an advantage.
