Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Consulting Manager / Principal Consultant to lead complex Sage Intacct implementation, optimization, and advisory engagements.

This role is ideal for someone who can act as a senior functional consultant, solution architect, and trusted advisor while also mentoring consultants, supporting pre-sales activity, and helping improve consulting delivery standards.

Responsibilities

- Lead medium to large Sage Intacct implementation and optimization engagements from discovery through post-go-live stabilization
- Serve as the primary functional consultant and trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
- Facilitate executive discovery sessions, solution workshops, and design reviews
- Build strong relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders
- Design scalable Sage Intacct solutions aligned with business requirements
- Lead solution design across reporting, workflows, automation, integrations, and data migration
- Guide testing, cutover, and go-live readiness
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, budgets, utilization, and profitability
- Identify scope changes and support change-order discussions
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coach and mentor consultants while promoting consistent implementation standards
- Review project deliverables and support consultant onboarding
- Support pre-sales activity including discovery, demonstrations, implementation scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development
- Review Statements of Work for delivery accuracy and feasibility




- Partner with Customer Success to identify optimization, adoption, renewal, and expansion opportunities
- Help improve implementation methodologies, SOPs, templates, and delivery playbooks
- Collaborate across Consulting, Customer Success, Sales, Solution Consulting, Support, Sage, and marketplace partners

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with Sage Intacct
- Proven experience leading Sage Intacct implementations and optimization engagements
- Strong functional consulting and solution design experience
- Experience with reporting, workflows, automation, integrations, and data migration
- Robust project delivery experience across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource management
- Experience working directly with executive stakeholders and business leaders
- Strong client-facing communication and advisory skills
- Experience mentoring consultants or leading delivery teams
- Ability to identify project risks, manage expectations, and drive successful outcomes
- Strong understanding of implementation methodology and delivery best practices
- Experience supporting pre-sales, scoping, estimation, proposals, or Statements of Work
- Ability to work cross-functionally across consulting, sales, customer success, and technical teams
