Amudham Hospitals, Tiruvannamalai is looking for a qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our Emergency & Critical Care team.

Responsibilities

* Manage medical, cardiac, neurological, surgical and trauma emergencies.

- Independently assess, stabilize and manage critically ill patients.
- Lead resuscitation, Code Blue and emergency response.
- Perform emergency procedures including intubation, central venous access, defibrillation, cardioversion and intercostal drainage as per competency.
- Manage acute coronary syndrome, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, poisoning and polytrauma.
- Coordinate timely referrals to ICU, Cath Lab, OT and relevant specialty consultants.
- Supervise Emergency Medical Officers, nurses and emergency technicians.
- Ensure proper documentation, handover and medico-legal compliance.
- Participate in Emergency Department protocols, audits and staff training.

Qualification

* MD / DNB Emergency Medicine preferred

- Candidates with relevant experience in Emergency Medicine / Critical Care may also be considered based on credentials and experience.
- BLS / ACLS certification preferred.




- ATLS or trauma-care experience will be an advantage.
