Client: A reputed CBSE school A reputed CBSE school in Southwest Delhi is looking to appoint a Junior School Computer Teacher to introduce young learners to computers and digital technology through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach computer and digital literacy skills to students in the junior school.
- Conduct engaging, activity-based lessons appropriate for young learners.
- Introduce students to basic computer operations, MS Office, internet safety, and educational applications.
- Develop students foundational digital and technology skills.
- Plan lessons, worksheets, activities, and assessments suited to different age groups.
- Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving through technology-based activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular academic feedback.
- Maintain computer lab records and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Integrate age-appropriate digital tools and resources into classroom learning.
- Collaborate with class teachers and academic coordinators on school programmes and initiatives.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Ed. with BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science)
- B.Ed. with MCA / M.Sc. (IT / Computer Science)
Experience
- Min. 5 years of teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Computer Science or Computer Applications at the junior school level would be preferred.
- Experience working with young learners in a CBSE school would be an advantage.
