6. Monitor machine performance during operation and report abnormalities immediately.
7. Maintain proper handling of components to avoid damage or rejection.
B. Production Target Achievement
1. Achieve daily and shift-wise production targets as per production planning.
2. Follow standard cycle time and minimize machine idle time.
3. Ensure optimum utilization of CNC machine capacity.
4. Support reduction of downtime by timely reporting of machine issues.
5. Maintain production records accurately.
C. Quality Control Responsibilities
1. Produce components as per customer drawing and specification requirements.
2. Perform first-piece inspection and obtain approval before mass production.
3. Conduct in-process inspection as per control plan and inspection frequency.
4. Use measuring instruments correctly and ensure inspection results are recorded.
5. Identify and segregate non-conforming products.
6. Immediately inform the supervisor/quality team about any quality abnormality.
D. Process & Document Control (ISO 9001:2015 Requirement)
1. Follow only approved and latest versions of:
- Drawings
- Work instructions
- Process sheets
- Inspection standards
1. Maintain production-related documents and records.

Ensure product traceability from raw material to finished component.
3. Follow approved process parameters without unauthorized changes.
E. Tool & Equipment Management
1. Ensure correct cutting tools and inserts are used.
2. Monitor tool wear and replace tools as per defined criteria.
3. Maintain tool change records.
4. Report abnormal tool conditions immediately.
5. Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of CNC machine.
F. Machine Maintenance Support
1. Perform daily operator-level machine checks.
2. Check lubrication, coolant level, hydraulic pressure, and machine condition.
3. Report machine abnormalities to the maintenance team.
4. Support preventive maintenance activities.
G. Safety & 5S Responsibilities
1. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
2. Maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards.
3. Ensure machine guards and safety devices are not bypassed.
4. Follow protected material loading/unloading practices.
5. Report unsafe conditions immediately.
H. Non-Conformance & Improvement Activities
1. Stop the process when abnormal quality conditions occur.
2. Support root cause analysis for machining-related issues.
3. Participate in corrective actions and improvement activities.
4. Suggest ideas for productivity and quality improvement.
