Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Head / Project Director to lead construction execution across residential projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential real estate construction, strong project leadership capabilities, and a well-established network of contractors, vendors, and construction professionals.

The role will be responsible for overseeing projects from planning and execution through completion while ensuring quality, timelines, safety, cost control, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Project Management

- Lead and oversee construction activities across residential projects.
- Ensure projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Monitor day-to-day site progress and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead project managers, site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other construction teams.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to project teams.
- Take timely decisions to resolve project-related challenges.

Technical & Quality Management

- Review construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction methodologies.
- Ensure structural and construction quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, safety requirements, and local regulations.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.




- Identify and onboard suitable vendors and contractors whenever required.
- Candidates with an established network within the construction and residential real-estate industry will be preferred.
- Support procurement and ensure timely availability of construction materials and services.

Budget & Timeline Control

- Monitor project budgets, costs, resources, and schedules.
- Identify potential delays, cost overruns, and project risks and take corrective measures.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Provide regular project updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, architects, and other external stakeholders wherever required.

- Address project

-related concerns and ensure smooth execution.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- 20+ years of overall experience in civil engineering/construction.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a leadership position such as Civil Head, Project Director, Head of Construction, Senior Project Manager, or similar.
- Strong experience in residential real estate construction is highly preferred.
- Experience managing large-scale residential construction projects from planning through completion.

- Strong knowledge of residential construction methodologies, materials, and standards.
- Excellent project planning and execution capabilities.
- Solid contractor and vendor management skills.
- Established industry network of construction vendors/contractors will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Good understanding of construction safety
