Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, monitors, and surveillance systems.

- Monitor CCTV systems and ensure continuous recording and proper functioning.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV equipment.

- Identify and resolve camera, cabling, power supply, network, storage, and recording-related issues.

- Maintain IP CCTV, analog CCTV, NVR/DVR, PoE switches, and related networking equipment.

- Check camera positioning, image quality, night vision, storage capacity, and recording status.

- Maintain CCTV system inventory, maintenance records, camera mapping, and service reports.

- Coordinate with external CCTV vendors/service providers for major repairs, AMC, installation, and upgrades.

- Conduct periodic inspection of CCTV coverage across academic buildings, hostels, entrances, corridors, laboratories, and parking areas.

- Support retrieval and preservation of CCTV footage when authorized by the college management/security department.

- Ensure CCTV systems are properly protected against unauthorized access and maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage.

- Assist in planning and implementing new CCTV installations, expansions, and technology upgrades.

- Maintain adequate stock of CCTV spares, cables, connectors,



adapters, hard disks, power supplies, etc.

- Respond promptly to CCTV breakdowns and security-related technical complaints.

- Prepare periodic CCTV status and maintenance reports for the Administration/Management.

- Follow college security policies, IT policies, and safety procedures.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Computer Science / IT or related discipline.

- Certification in CCTV, Networking, or Security Systems will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Experience in educational institutions, corporate campuses, hospitals, or large facilities is ADDED ADVANTAGE.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
