1. Financial Look after purchase based on harvesting plans and to maintain adequate cane balance at the optimum level

Manage varietal composition and farming education and cultivation techniques

Responsible for increase in cane area & cane yield per unit area

Responsible for cane area survey and foliage spray of urea in cane crop

Responsible for managing the weighbridge operations (passing the weighbridge with a computerized system for data retrieval gross weight, number of plots, the location, the type of cut, the name of the executor slash and cut hours (freshness))

Responsible for budget preparation and budgetary control

Responsible for preparation of monthly review meetings

2. Customer Deal with the inspection authorities/ cane department officials to ensure smooth working

Deal with the local public representative and district authorities to ensure that there is continued support from the cane growers and local population

Responsible for implementation of Govt. policies in accordance with cane bonding policy issues by Cane Commissioner, U.P





Responsible for institutionalizing company values among the employees in the department

3. Operations Monitor the performance of contracted transportation vendors transporting cane from cane purchase centers to the factory

Responsible to ensure proper monitoring of incidence of disease/pests in crop from time to time

Encourage farmers to grow most-remunerative crop-cane, educate farmers in terms of farm practices and crop

Responsible for ensuring supply of fresh & mature cane to factory for quality production of sugar

4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs

Recommend training as required for team�s development

Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need

Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
