Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst Mid Cap / Small Cap

About the Role

We are hiring for a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst role with an investment management firm.

The role involves conducting deep fundamental research and identifying investment opportunities primarily across the Mid Cap and Small Cap segment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on mid-cap and small-cap companies.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Analyse company financials, business models, management quality and industry trends.
- Build financial models and conduct valuation analysis.
- Develop investment theses, catalysts and risk assessments.
- Track portfolio companies and monitor business developments.
- Conduct sector and industry research.
- Participate in management meetings,



earnings calls and company interactions.
- Prepare investment notes and research reports.
- Support investment and portfolio management decisions.

Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in Buy-Side Equity Research preferred.
- Exposure to Mid Cap / Small Cap companies is required.
- Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills.
- Good understanding of valuation methodologies.
- Ability to independently analyse companies and develop investment views.
- Robust analytical and investment research skills.
- Candidates from PMS, AIF, AMC, Family Office or other Buy-Side investment platforms will be preferred.
