Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced BOQ Executive – Interior with strong expertise in BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, quantity take-offs, and market rate analysis for interior projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of interior materials, hardware, furniture, finishes, current market prices, and vendor quotations, along with practical on-site understanding.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and detailed BOQs, estimates, and cost sheets for interior projects.
- Carry out quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Analyze material requirements, specifications, and project quantities.
- Maintain updated knowledge of market rates, material prices, hardware, furniture, and finishes.
- Source and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
- Utilize existing vendor/supplier contacts to obtain competitive rates.
- Conduct rate comparisons, cost analysis, and negotiations with vendors.
- Coordinate with site teams to understand actual project requirements and quantities.




- Apply practical on-site knowledge while preparing estimates and BOQs.
- Ensure accuracy of quantities, rates, specifications, and overall project costing.
- Keep track of changing material prices and market trends.
- Maintain BOQ and costing records using MS Excel and relevant BOQ software/tools.

Requirements

- 5–6 years of relevant experience in BOQ, estimation, and costing for interior projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of interior materials, hardware, furniture, and finishes.
- Excellent understanding of quantity take-offs and material specifications.
- Positive vendor and supplier network with knowledge of current market quotations.
- Strong on-site knowledge of interior project execution and requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and BOQ/estimation software or tools.
- Strong analytical, costing, negotiation, and rate-comparison skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Must be market-oriented and regularly updated with current material prices.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOQs as per drawings and project requirements.
